Abstract
One of the Ministry of Higher Education's primary strategic aims is to provide standard academic curricula that meet the demands of our society. Curriculum development is a dynamic process in which learning opportunities, materials, equipment, and other resources are designed, assessed, and revised continually to create advantageous improvements in educational programs. The ever-increasing growth of society requires educational curricula that match a country's current and future demands. Professional degrees, which provide students with practical knowledge and skills, are crucial to higher education curricula. Pharm.D, or Doctor of Pharmacy, is one of these professional fields that prepares students with the clinical expertise and skills needed for patient-centered care and the judicious use of medications. This article aims to provide an overview of the Pharm.D program and its significance in the development of the country's pharmaceutical educational programs. It can be stated that the number of Pharm.D programs is growing internationally, and the majority of countries have updated their B. Pharm degrees to Pharm.D programs.
